Get rewarded for consistent saving! With Saving Streaks you earn tickets for saving each month. Please note that Saving Streaks are applicable to all Buckets* and NOT for the Core Account.

How it works

Simply save $25 or more each month in a bucket to start your streak. You must add $25 or more in qualifying deposits** each month to your bucket to keep the streak alive. Streaks reset if you do not add at least $25 of qualifying deposits by the end of the month. This means that your bucket balance must grow by at least $25. Therefore, if you withdraw funds from a bucket, you must make qualifying deposits of at least $25 greater than your previous balance.

The number of Saving Streaks tickets you earn each month depends on two things:

1. Streak Length: the number of months in a row you have saved $25 or more in a given bucket. The more months in a row you save, the more tickets you can earn.

2. Savings Growth: the amount your bucket’s balance has grown this month from qualifying deposits**. The more your bucket grows, the more tickets you can earn.

The combination of your Streak Length and Growth determines how many tickets you earn each month. Click here to learn more about how the number of tickets earned each month are calculated.

What is a qualifying deposit?

Qualifying deposits are any new funds deposited into Yotta this month. Examples include:

  • Paychecks (direct deposits)

  • Bank transfers

  • Mobile check deposits

To contribute to your streaks, these deposits must either be deposited directly into the bucket or allocated into the bucket by long-pressing the deposit transaction in the app. Simply transferring funds from your core account to a bucket will NOT contribute to a savings streak.

For example, if a paycheck is deposited into your core account, you must allocate that transaction to a bucket in order for it to contribute towards your streak. Just transferring the paycheck funds from your core account to a bucket will NOT contribute to a streak.
