Please note that only customers with a Yotta debit card are able to deposit checks remotely with the Yotta mobile app.
You can deposit checks remotely using the Yotta mobile app by following these steps:
Tap the Money Movement button (the center button at the bottom).
Select "Deposit a Check" in the popup window.
Enter the dollar amount of the check, capture images of the front and back of the check, and tap the "Next" button on the bottom.
On the Confirm Check Deposit page, review your check deposit details and tap the "Confirm" button at the bottom.
These are the types of checks you can deposit remotely:
Personal or business checks
Cashier's checks
Money orders
These types of checks cannot be accepted:
Checks older than 6 months
Self-issued checks
Foreign checks
Please note:
Mobile check deposits take 6 business days, not including weekends and holidays, to settle into your Yotta account.
Though the standard daily deposit limit for mobile check deposits is $5,000 daily, the daily deposit limit in your mobile app sets the limit of how much you can deposit through mobile check deposits.
