If you want to deposit more than your current deposit limits or you want access to funds that settle immediately upon deposit you can push funds to your Yotta account from an external bank account.

You may need to reach out to your bank to get answers on whether you can connect your Yotta account to your external bank, and for specific instructions on how you can push funds to Yotta. Here are some general tips:

  • If your external financial institution uses Plaid to verify bank accounts, you can verify your Yotta account using your Yotta login credentials (email address and password).

  • You may also be able to connect your Yotta account manually using your account and routing numbers. In this case, your external financial institution will use micro-deposits to verify your Yotta account, which will take a few business days to show in your Yotta account.

For example, if you have a Bank of America account, this may be how you can connect your Yotta account:

    • On the web, navigate to "Transfer".

    • Select "Add account/recipient".

    • Select "Domestic" for the type of account.

    • Add your Yotta account details.

  • Once your Yotta account is verified and connected to your external bank account, you can then initiate a transaction from your bank's side to push funds to your Yotta account.
